The second edition of the multinational air exercise Tarang Shakti has begun at Air Force Station Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Saturday the 26th of September 2026.

In a twitter message posted by the Indian Air Force on X stated, “A warm welcome to our friends from across the skies as they touch down at Jodhpur. Welcome to India. Welcome to Tarang Shakti.”
This the second edition of the Indian Air Force’s multinational air exercise which will last up to 12th of October.
The exercise aims to expose all participants to planning and execution of multinational joint combat operations in a realistic contemporary battlespace and derive tactically viable solutions.
Eight Friendly Foreign Countries such as Australia, Bangladesh, France, Germany, Greece, Sri Lanka, UAE and USA will participate with air assets, while 32 nations will be attending as observers.

Tarang Shakti aims to covers a wide canvas of air operations, from counter-air, air defense, and force combat to recce, airlift, air-to-air refueling, and other highly complex mission sets.
The first edition of Tarang Shakti was held in 2024 in two phases at Sulur, Tamil Nadu, and Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
